The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

The role

We are currently establishing our precast production team and seek expressions of interest from experienced Plant Operators.

This role is responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in the production of precast concrete components while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor precast production machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret production drawings and specifications.
• Prepare moulds and ensure correct setup before pouring.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and products as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a precast or concrete production environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, or other heavy equipment (certification is an asset) will be highly regarded.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
