The Project
The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Recruitment Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of travel and employee onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and travelling staff. You’ll be the key liaison between departments and new team members, supporting logistics, documentation, and induction processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage domestic and international travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, and ground transport in line with company policies
- Liaise with travel agents, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm bookings, manage itineraries, and resolve any travel disruptions or urgent changes
- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process by preparing contracts, welcome packs, and scheduling inductions and initial training sessions
- Ensure completion of all required pre-employment checks such as police clearances, medicals, licenses, and tickets before the employee start date
- Maintain accurate employee and travel records within internal systems, ensuring timely data entry and file management
- Provide general administrative support to HR and Operations teams including reporting, documentation, and compliance tracking
- Act as the main point of contact for new starters and travelling staff, delivering clear communication and a smooth, supportive onboarding and travel experience
About You
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence liaising across all levels of the organisation
- Proven experience supporting a blue-collar workforce, including familiarity with site mobilisation, tickets, and onboarding compliance
- High attention to detail in managing travel logistics, documentation, and employee records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using HRIS or travel booking systems
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused when dealing with last-minute changes or urgent requests
- A team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to delivering a smooth and professional employee experience
