The Project:

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

 

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

 

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031.  The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project

The Role:

The Reporting and Insights Analyst will be focused on translating project and engineering requirements into high quality dashboard solutions, ensuring enterprise-wide reporting integrity and standardisation.

 

The role will develop Power BI reports which accurately summarise the underlying engineering data and deliver insight and value to end users on the project.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain engineering and technical data across multiple platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for reporting and decision‑making.
  • Automate data workflows and reporting processes, utilising tools such as Databricks, Power BI, and other analytics platforms to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Develop and deliver high‑quality dashboards, insights, and analytics, supporting engineering, construction, and project management teams with timely and actionable information.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Construction, and Project Management to understand requirements and provide meaningful data-driven solutions.
  • Create and maintain training materials and support adoption of reporting systems, tools, and data processes across the project team.
  • Independently facilitate meetings and workshops to communicate insights, gather requirements, and drive continuous improvement in reporting and data management practices.

About You:

  • Additional certifications or qualifications relevant to data analysis and digital tools will be highly regarded.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant postgraduate experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Power BI Desktop software.
  • Strong technical skills in using a wide range of digital applications, tools, and coding languages, including but not limited to Power BI, Databricks, DAX, Power Query, Python, and JSON.
  • Previous experience in Civil, Mining, Services or Process Engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consistently and reliably.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of clients.
