The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.
The Role
As the Community Benefits Senior Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful programs that create real, measurable benefits for communities.
Reporting to the Community Benefits Manager, you will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives that provide tangible benefits to the communities affected by the project.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Assist to develop and implement community benefits strategies, including events, workshops, and outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with community members, businesses, and organisations to integrate feedback into project initiatives
- Track program performance, analyse data, and use insights to optimise community outcomes
- Ensure all initiatives align with legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines
- Work closely with internal teams—including Construction, Engagement, Business Engagement, and Aboriginal Engagement—to align community benefit initiatives with broader project goals
About you
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in community development, stakeholder management, or marketing
- 3–5 years in community engagement, including 2+ years in senior advisory roles
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to convey complex information to a variety of audiences
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to community opportunities
- Familiarity with the local area and community dynamics is highly desirable
