The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

The Role

As T2D continues to expand our Commercial team, we have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a Senior CA on T2D, you will lead a team of Contracts Administrators to manage payments claims, EOT's, variations, and formal correspondance across a wide variety of lump sum and schedule of rates contracts. Your role will see you work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial Managers to ensure best for project outcomes.

Responsibilities

    • Review and manage any claims, variations and dispute resolution processes in a timely and effective manner.
    • ­Maintain contact and good working relationships with a broad range of subcontractors and a maintain good awareness of market conditions and movements
    • ­Effectively manage subcontracts through all phases, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations processing, completion and close out
    • Prepare procurement strategies, including breakdown into individual works packages, identification of potential subcontractors, procurement methods and timing
    • ­Ensure compliance with Building Code at all times and report any potential non-compliances
    • Provide training and guidance to the project team on any contractual notices and obligations

About You

    • ­Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce or equivalent
    • ­Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator, preferably on major infrastructure or construction projects.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts, including Australian Standards and NEC.
