The Project

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

 

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

 

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031.  The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Senior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring strategic design thinking to the table, and are ready to lead high-impact projects across digital and print, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across project teams to manage design requests, streamline workflows and ensure timely delivery of edits and updates
  • Design and optimise digital content including website banners, digital brochures and full website layouts - with a user-first approach that ensures intuitive and engaging experiences across platforms
  • Design a range of printed promotional materials, including brochures, fact sheets, flyers, and maps, adhering to brand guidelines
  • Create clear and impactful signage for office branding and on-site instructional/safety purposes
  • Design and deliver internal campaigns that spark engagement, build culture and keep staff in the loop

Role Requirements :

  • Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) or certificate or relevant experience (disciplines relevant to function area, e.g. graphic design, digital media, video production, photography) and over 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Must be highly proficient in the Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and be familiar with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Must have strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to new challenges through effective problem-solving
  • Must have a creative mindset with a keen eye for design and attention to detail 
  • Must be a strong communicator and collaborator who proactively anticipates project needs and design challenges, delivering creative solutions ahead of the brief
  • While not essential, it's desirable to have: skills in photography to conduct occasional site visits to document project progress, the ability to edit and enhance images using Lightroom, and skills in video post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects
