The Project:
The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project
The Role:
As the Senior Warehouse Manager for M&E, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
You will play a critical role in supporting project delivery by maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a high-performing warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and equipment.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimise warehouse productivity.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock control, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with T2D’s safety policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Monitor and report on key warehouse performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rates, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
About You:
Essential:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Mechanical & Electrical experience
- Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Forklift licence or other relevant certifications.
