The Project:
The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.
The Role:
We are looking for a Data Manager to join our Survey Team, supporting the delivery of the project through accurate data coordination and modelling.
You will work closely with surveyors, designers, and digital engineering teams to ensure all spatial and asset data is reliable, accessible, and aligned with project requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform pavement and stormwater modelling to support survey
- Manage and maintain 12d data within Synergy, ensuring up-to-date project records
- Create, manage, and update WorksManager guidance files for field execution
- Conduct volume and linear meterage calculations to support construction and reporting
- Collaborate with survey, digital engineering, and design teams for seamless asset data management
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in survey data management in major construction environments
- Diploma or degree in surveying /engineering
- Proficiency in 12d and experienced with Synergy or similar data management systems
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to data accuracy and workflow management
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Desirable: Experience managing utility and attribute data in a large project setting.
