The Project:

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

 

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

 

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031.  The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.

The Role:

The Time & Attendance Administrator is responsible for the accurate administration, governance, and day-to-day operation of the John Holland Time & Attendance system (Kronos) for project-based workforce employees.

 

The role ensures workforce data integrity, accurate time capture, roster management, and payroll readiness in line with project payroll timelines and business rules. The Time & Attendance Administrator acts as a key link between site teams, Supervisors, HR, and Project and Corporate Payroll, ensuring issues are identified, resolved, and escalated appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Kronos as the project’s primary system of record keeping for workforce time and attendance.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and pay‑cycle Kronos activities are completed in accordance with agreed payroll processing timelines.
  • Validate and process manual time punch submissions in line with payroll business rules and approval requirements.
  • Monitor and resolve recurring timekeeping issues and escalate risks or trends as needed.
  • Support audits, payroll reviews, and investigations by providing Kronos data, records, and system context when required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Kronos processes, guides, and reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, access controls, and segregation‑of‑duties requirements when administering Kronos.

About You:

  • ­Demonstrated experience administering Kronos or equivalent time and attendance systems.
  • ­Strong understanding of timekeeping, payroll processes, and business rules.
  • ­Experience supporting project based or high-volume workforce environments.
  • ­Relevant experience or certification in payroll, HR systems, or administration.
