The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.
The Role
Reporting to the Resourcing Lead, as the Onboarding and Mobilisation Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for employees as they transition to the T2D Project. This includes managing all aspects of pre-employment, compliance, and mobilisation. You’ll act as the key contact between new employees and internal departments, making sure every worker is site-ready, informed, and engaged from day one. A practical understanding of blue-collar environments is essential, as you will be supporting a high-volume workforce comprised of skilled trades and labour personnel.
Roles and responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and mobilisation processes, including compliance checks, travel coordination, and system tracking
- Liaise with internal teams (recruitment, HR, payroll, safety, operations) to ensure smooth transitions for new starters
- Serve as the main point of contact for new employees, providing support throughout the onboarding journey
- Maintain accurate records and continuously improve onboarding procedures to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Organise interviews and manage the Resourcing Lead’s calendar
About you
- Proven experience in onboarding, mobilisation, HR coordination, or workforce administration
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with HRIS, mobilisation systems, or project management tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of blue-collar workforces, including trade qualifications, ticketing, and site-readiness, is highly valued
