Title:  Project Manager - Concrete & Reinforcement

The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

The role

Reporting into the Services Director, this is a senior appointment managing the projects multi-million-dollar concrete and reinforcement contracts for the entire project.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and forward looking with key stakeholders – coordinating between all stakeholders and the suppliers
• Manage in-situ concrete head contract for whole project (minimum 3 major suppliers)
• Manage reinforcement head contracts for whole project (minimum 2 major suppliers)
• Coordinate the supply of concrete for the surface, structures, civil and tunnelling works
• Coordinate the supply of reinforcement for the surface, structures, civil and tunnelling works

About you

As the successful candidate you will possess:

• Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Concrete experience either as supplier or in precast
• Experience working with reinforcement
• Managing Projects >$250m
• Experience managing team to deliver critical infrastructure works
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-developed prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
