At John Holland, our purpose is simple – we transform lives with everything we do.

That’s our difference. Deep experience and capability with a genuine care about creating better lives for people along the way.
Be part of the team that’s up for the challenge of transforming lives for good.
About The Role
We are currently seeking a Project Finance Administrator to join the B2N Project team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the financial operations of the project, ensuring that transactions, records and reporting processes are delivered accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with both site-based delivery teams and finance stakeholders, you will help manage the flow of financial information across the project—supporting invoicing, purchase orders and cost tracking—ensuring timely processing and strong financial governance in a fast-paced, complex infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day financial administration of project activities across multiple work fronts
- Process supplier invoices, subcontractor claims and variations in line with project requirements
- Manage purchase orders, dockets and expense claims to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Maintain project financial records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards
- Verify financial documentation, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained prior to processing
- Assist in end-of-month activities, supporting accurate cost capture and reporting outcomes
- Work collaboratively with project teams, suppliers and finance teams to resolve queries efficiently
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, systems and administrative practices
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in finance administration, accounts payable or project-based finance roles
- Exposure to construction, infrastructure or engineering project environments (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of financial data accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial or ERP systems
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute
