About The Project
John Holland has recently been awarded the Illabo to Stockinbingal section of Inland Rail in NSW. The Illabo to Stockinbingal section is about 39km of new rail corridor located within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai. It will provide a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal and connecting into the existing Forbes rail line.
Illabo to Stockinbingal is a DIDO Project, accommodation is provided on the 2:1 (2 weeks on / 1 week off) roster.
About The Role
As a drainage supervisor you will oversee the on-site drainage construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards while managing subcontractors, resources, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily drainage works and ensure adherence to project designs.
Promote safety, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce HSE regulations.
Monitor quality, resolve defects, and maintain accurate site records.
Coordinate with teams to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.
Report progress and address issues with stakeholders.
To be Successful You will Need
Trade Qualification or relevant industry experience
Construction experience in a similar role would be desired.
Substantial industry experience in Trades and Construction
Skilled in the review of design documents, ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review and implement final design plans
