John Holland is proud to be a key delivery partner on the Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP), responsible for the Operations & Maintenance of the transformative Metro Tunnel Project.

About the role
As a key leadership position within John Holland's Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP) Maintenance team, the Performance Manager plays a crucial role in implementing and managing the contract performance and compliance framework to ensure all contract deliverables are achieved. This role also oversees abatement reporting and is responsible for managing the Help Desk.
Key accountabilities
- Manage performance and compliance framework, systems and processes to ensure contract deliverables and targets are met.
- Manage reporting requirements against Key Performance Indicators and produce monthly and quarterly performance reports for the State, Train Franchisee, Project Co and CYP leadership team.
- Manage the delivery of the Help Desk in its pivotal role in managing abatement and performance of the services, including continuous improvement of the services provided.
- Ensure that the project conforms with statutory, and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements and that the workplace understands these requirements and obligations.
- Identify, manage and monitor performance objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery.
- Work with corporate Asset Management System resources to obtain and maintain site certification to ISO 55001 under John Holland system umbrella. Implement compliance measures with ISO 9001, ISO140001 and AS4801 as related to asset and performance management.
- Responsible for the overall integrity of the Performance Data ensuring that data captured is accurate and timely.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to staff.
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures.
- Develop, manage and maintain Maintenance Phase documentation.
- Manage internal staff and external contractors to ensure compliance with requisite inductions, qualifications and work processes.
To be successful in this role you must have
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Facility Management, Quality Management, Project Management, Technology or related discipline.
- Asset Management, Quality, safety and compliance experience gained within rail transport or related industries
- Experience in similar role within an operational PPP environment.
- Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems and asset management systems in a highly complex operating environment
- Ability to understand, interpret and comply with contracts and contractual requirements
- Risk Management practices
- Safety and Environmental Management experience
