About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join our team based in John Holland’s Flinders Gate head office. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing financial management and cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for several key Corporate departments. You will play a critical part in supporting business performance, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual budgeting for multiple cost centres.
-Manage corporate charges and recoveries, including payroll charges, timesheets, utilisation reporting, internal interest, and bank guarantee charges.
-Oversee treasury-related activities such as payment approvals, account and banking platform maintenance, Workday processes, and issue resolution.
-Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of prepayments.
-Drive ad-hoc projects and business improvement initiatives.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
-Provide leadership, people management, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

You are a results-driven finance professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in financial management within complex environments. Qualifications:    
Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor level) in discipline relevant to function area e.g. Management/Finance/Commerce/Accounting/Business
CA or CPA Qualified

 

Experience:    
-Significant relevant management experience at a senior manager level and extensive dealing with Executives / Senior Management.
-10-15 years’ experience with an appropriate degree or diploma.
-Multi-discipline experience in the construction industry, major industrial organisation or adjacent sectors to construction
-Workday Financial Management / Adaptive Planning experience preferred
