The Opportunity

 

To coordinate the design and delivery of the project sustainability requirements to ensure the project achieves sustainable outcomes that are of value to our customers and meets contractual obligations. 


Assisting with the full range of sustainability initiatives across design and delivery, including but not limited to environmental resilience, resource use efficiency, supply chain resilience, climate change management, business resilience, and social innovation.

 

Support with the delivery of the project specific sustainability goals and ensures that actions, procedures and tools are in place to provide surety of successful project delivery, which is in compliance with the project sustainability management plan and the project's contractual obligations.

 

Provide coordination support to sustainability projects and initiatives.

 

Develop and deliver sustainability training programs for relevant project personnel and contractors, and support sustainability management tools training.

 

Support the maintenance of strong relationships through collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders
 

To be successful in this key role

 

Bachelor of Engineering, Science, Sustainability, Environmental management or other associated disciplines

 

Sound understanding of sustainability principles and application within the construction industry.

 

­Construction experience -2 - 4 years.

 

Aware of sustainability rating schemes and standards.

 

Proficient in written and verbal communication and strong ability to influence and drive change.
