Job Description

North Western Program Alliance consists of four partners, working as ‘one team’ collocated in the Alliance’s head and project offices. NWPA has a proven track record with the completion of four level crossing removal projects, a Premium station rebuild and 3 projects currently in delivery.


To drive effective management on the upcoming program of works, the Alliance is looking to add to its high caliber workforce to safely and efficiently deliver additional work packages and contribute to the ongoing growth of a skilled and inclusive local industry.


We are currently looking for a Quality Advisor to join the Alliance. As Quality Advisor you will provide onsite quality services and technical support to manage quality requirements in accordance with project requirements

 

Responsibilities of the role include:
­- Assits with administering construction engineering activities related to quality management and programming to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, specifications and client requirements
­- Document quality issues and performance measures for management review
­- Prepare audit reports summarising production and quality issues together with recommend corrective actions
­- Assist with the monitoring of construction progress for adherence to programme and report back to Quality Manager and site Project Engineers
­- Review Activity Method Statements (AMS) and review Task Risk Assessment s (TRA) with Engineers and Supervisors
­- Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, sustainability and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes
­- Assist with the executing of working knowledge of contractual requirements, legislation and standards relevant to the project
­- Document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance reporting
­- Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes

 

To be successful in this key role, you must have:
­- Minimum 3-5 years’ Quality experience
­- Construction management and specific technical skills base relevant to program of work and discipline area
­- Wide level of planning, development and review of complex projects
­- Implementation of a process and/or product system of audits and schedules
­- Skill in use of document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance and procedures
