John Holland - About the Project

John Holland are delivering the M7 - M12 Integration project, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.

The project is a John Holland only, stand alone mega project, located in Cecil Hills – within Western Sydney.

The Role:

The Senior People Advisor role works within the People, Culture and Internal Communication team, and will join a group of passionate, industry leading change makers who take an innovative, personable and fun approach to delivering the people function on the project. This role is a leadership position within the team, and will deliver key people initiatives across the project.

Reporting to the People and Culture Director, key responsibilities include:

  • Provide general assistance to the project team in all things people, including business partnering, people strategies and creating innovative people solutions for our customers,
  • Influencing positive people outcomes across the project, including supportive all employee lifecycle people processes,
  • Leading change initiatives to drive best practice people outcomes,
  • Contributing to building a high performance, supportive culture for our project team members to learn and grow,
  • Leading a small team of people professionals, who you will develop, support and grow over your time on the project.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Business related discipline, ideally Human Resources
  • 5-7 years in a people professional role,
  • You are an out of the box, critical thinker, who designs people solutions to serve internal customers on the project,
  • The ability to work in a team and support the broader team objectives,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication,
  • You are a proven people leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring more junior people professionals.
