About The Project

John Holland is progressing the development of Stage 1A of the multi-stage Beveridge Intermodal Freight Terminal project, a pivotal development set to transform the logistics landscape in Victoria, Australia. This initial phase marks the beginning of a journey towards creating a state-of-the-art facility that will streamline the movement of goods across the nation and beyond.

 

Strategically located to harness the full potential of its proximity to key transport links, Beveridge is poised to deliver unparalleled efficiencies in the distribution of freight. With the latest advancements in logistics technology at its core, Stage 1A lays the groundwork for a hub of innovation, ensuring that cargo is moved with unprecedented speed and precision.

 

With John Holland's proven track record and meticulous approach, Stage 1A of the Beveridge project is a testament to the company's dedication to excellence. As the project progresses, each subsequent stage will build upon the last, culminating in a world-class intermodal freight terminal that will serve as a cornerstone for Australia's future in global trade.

About the Role

• Develop and implement an integration strategy and plan for the project

• Establish, implement, maintain, and audit a project specific Asset Management, Maintenance and Handover Plan

• Establish, implement, maintain, and audit a project specific Operational Readiness Plan which details the approach to ensuring the operational readiness of the Works to be put into operation in accordance with the requirements of the Contract.

• Identify and manage interfaces between various project components (e.g. civil works, track, signalling, power, communications)

• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of project deliverables

• Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related issues

• Oversee the integration of technical systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality across all components

• Monitor and report on integration progress, highlighting potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies

• Ensure all integration activities comply with relevant standards, regulations, and project requirements

• Support the testing and commissioning phases to ensure integrated systems meet performance and operational requirements

• Coordinate with the commissioning team to validate system functionality

• Maintain accurate records of integration activities, decisions, and changes

What we are looking for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

 

Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in rail projects, with demonstrated expertise in integration and interface management.

• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders in complex project environments.

• Familiarity with Victorian rail industry standards and practices (highly desirable).

• Experience in testing, commissioning, and operational readiness (highly desirable).

• Strong knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
