We are currently looking for an experienced Cost Planner to join our team in Pyrmont, NSW.

The role will ensure accurate cost plans / estimates of allocated projects are completed on time, in accordance with required technical standards and to provide leadership in the preconstruction phase of the project. 
 
The role will incorporate a variety of responsibilities, including:
•    Tracking, monitoring and controlling costs during the project life cycle
•    Using Planning-Budgeting-Forecasting Cost control Model to increase profitability by identifying the variances between these cost elements.
•    Analyse actual cost against planned cost, and forecast final cost versus budget.
•    Budget/Tender reconciliation, change management and variance analysis.
•    Quantification and Costing of construction work
•    Quantity Take-off and preparing Bills of Quantities
•    Procurement and tendering of construction works; Tender negotiation and recommendation.

 

To be considered you will have:
•    A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
•    Prior exposure to civil infrastructure, including roads and bridges
•    Good Communication and Presentation Skills
•    Tertiary qualifications in Engineering would be highly regarded
