We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Program Coordinator to join our Chief Engineer’s Office. In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to coordinate and support critical engineering programs, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the seamless delivery of key initiatives across our national engineering and design cohort.
What you’ll do:
-Manage multiple programs, projects, and initiatives on behalf of the Chief Engineer’s Office, ensuring delivery within time and budget.
-Coordinate logistics, reporting, and administration for the SLT, including SharePoint repositories and communities of practice platforms.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with technical partners, consultants, contractors, and industry bodies.
-Prepare correspondence, presentations, marketing materials, and reports for business and client purposes.
-Draft communications across various channels (posts, articles, emails).
-Analyse, prioritise, and respond to communications on behalf of the SLT, escalating or delegating as appropriate.
-Support project and tender activities, document control, dashboard reporting, and onboarding of new staff.
-Assist with the coordination of conferences, presentations, and events.
-Conduct data analysis to develop evidence-based insights for key initiatives.
-Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, and systems.
About you:
-Tertiary qualified, ideally with a diploma or higher in engineering, construction, or science.
-3–5 years’ experience in a team or program coordinator role, preferably within engineering or construction.
-Demonstrated business development experience and capability to conduct research into key topic areas.
-Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and process improvement skills.
-Excellent relationship-building skills across multiple divisions and stakeholder levels.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with corporate governance and enterprise processes.
-Discretion and intuition in handling sensitive matters.
