John Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella has commended design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West – Eastern Tunnelling Package.

The Eastern Tunnelling Package includes construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations. Starting at The Bays, tunnel boring machines will cross the harbour near the Anzac Bridge, before heading to the new Pyrmont station and then under Darling Harbour before reaching Hunter Street in the heart of the CBD.

This is the final piece in the puzzle to deliver the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project.

The Role:

We are looking for an entry level Receptionist on a temporary basis. You will be the first point of contact and the face of our business. This temporary need is an immediate start with a strong possibility of turning permanent. You will report directly to the Office Manager

Duties Include:

• Answer telephone calls and take messages.
• Greet visitors/ Clients/ Community Stakeholders/ Sub-contractors, etc.
• Office stationery and grocery stock take.
• Supply staff with stationery requirements.
• Some ad-hoc administration work, including assisting other Teams where required.
• Manage visitor passes.
• Notify staff of deliveries via email.
• Restocking of kitchen supplies & cleaning of coffee machines every afternoon.
• Security of front desk/ reception area
• Maintaining printers are stocked with paper, replacing toners, etc.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills (word and excel in particular).
