Our Botany Rail Duplication Project is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Structures to join our team, based in Mascot, reporting to the Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project activities and work scope
  • Leadership of Project Engineers & Site Engineers
  • Liaise with Client, Subcontractors and all project stakeholders
  • Acting as focal point for technical structural advice and providing the project with best practice methods
  • Ensure project is delivered to programme, budget and the highest safety standards
  • Management of plant, labour and materials
  • Monitor monthly forecasts
  • Provide innovative problem solving and technical expertise

Skills & Experience required

  • Tertiary qualifications Construction / Engineering Discipline.
  • Demonstrated skills in programming, cost control, quality assurance, safety and supervision/people management.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ engineering experience, specifically structures.
  • Previous work in a Rail environment and technical knowledge of track works
  • Senior Project Engineer and operational experience.
  • Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities.
  • Understanding of the Project Design Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
