River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project

The T2D Project is the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, and will complete 78km of non-stop, traffic light-free motorway between Gawler and Old Noarlunga. Drivers will be able to bypass 21 sets of traffic lights between the River Torrens and Darlington as they travel through two separate tunnels, connected by an open motorway.

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia’s biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government this consortium forms the T2D Alliance.

Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) Project

The Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) will deliver a 90km orbital rail line connecting every major railway line in Melbourne, including a connection to Melbourne Airport. SRL will provide a world-class, driverless metro system, setting new benchmarks for comfort, safety and reliability.

SRL will be delivered in four sections, with SRL East as the first stage. John Holland is part of the Alliance’s delivering key SRL East works packages, including underground stations at Box Hill, Burwood and Glen Waverley, a train stabling facility and back-up control centre, rail systems infrastructure, testing and commissioning, and train manufacturing. John Holland is also part of the 15-year franchise to operate and maintain the new metro line.
